Join us for a special talk by IDA Visiting Artist Favianna Rodriguez as she presents her art and activism!
One of the world's most acclaimed printmakers and a highly recognized speaker and activist, Favianna is also the cofounder of the influential organizations, Presente.org and CultureStrike.
She is teaching a highly popular class this quarter on art and the DREAM Act entitled "Show Me Your Papers", in which students and DREAMers work together to produce art for social justice.
In this exclusive public lecture, she will discuss her work and influences, and her strategies for social change.
